The first time you light your candle we recommend you let it burn for approximately 3 - 4 hours, or until the melted wax on the top reaches the edge of the glass.  See our candle care guidelines for further info. 

Soy wax will normally leave a residue which is visible with clear glass.  Although we feel this is in keeping with our natural look, we also make this candle in frosted glass if you prefer for a sleeker finish.
