The first time you light your candle we recommend you let it burn for approximately 3 - 4 hours, or until the wax pool reaches the edge of the glass and the whole top layer of wax has become liquid.
Otherwise, your candle may not continue to burn evenly and you may get unwanted 'tunneling'.
